RFSL Rådgivningen Skåne’s purpose and aim is to work towards a society characterised by diversity, openness and respect for people’s differences. All people, whatever their sexual orientation and gender identity and however they choose to express this orientation and identity, have equal rights and obligations, are of equal value and have equal opportunities to live and work. You can see our vision on LGBTQ health here (in Swedish). You will find our statues here. (in Swedish) (opens in new window)

RFSL Rådgivningen Skåne began in 1987. You can find us on the second floor of the rust-coloured building in the middle of the picture (notice our great rainbow flag). The building is in the heart of central Malmö (the address is at the bottom of the page) but we cover the whole of Skåne. RFSL Rådgivningen Skåne’s members are the local organisations of Swedish Federation for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Queer Rights (RSFL) in Skåne. There are eight of us working here and our work focuses on the health of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queer people in Skåne. Women who have sex with women (WSW), men who have sex with men (MSM) and friends and relatives are also part of our target group. We run basic and further training on LGBTQ issues for local workplaces. We also provide supportive, reflective and therapeutic counselling. The contact details of our board and staff are here.
